Calendar sharing

Improval makes it easy to arrange appointments with your mentees. No more copying down your availability only for something else to come up as soon as you click send on the email.

You can add free slots to your calendar or just suggest a few time slots, and you can sync with your Google calendar.

Adding Bookable slots

From the Mentors dashboard click through to get started from the Calendar introduction, or click the Calendar option from the left hand side menu if you have already done this.

The Calendar page provides a user friendly interface to navigate and organise your diary.

To add a slot that others can book on simply either click the relevant time or click Add. Then on the event details popup check the "Allow others to book on this event" option.

Once you have added some slots you can visit the Calendar settings page to get more details on how to share your calendar.

The Calendar settings page has the link to share with those you wish to book a meeting with you.

Only registered users can see your calendar (so they will be prompted to register if they aren't already), and you will be able to accept or deny any booking requests before they are added to your calendar.

Once a colleague requests a meeting you will be emailed and on your calendar you will see the request and as above there is the option to either accept or deny. If accepted the user will be sent a calendar invite. If your calendar is linked to your Google calendar then they are added as an attendee to your event.
