Join us at our Wellbeing conference on Tuesday 7 October at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford
The event is for anyone working within General Practice (GPs, Clinical Directors, Practice Managers, and other practice staff) in Humberside and North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. All very welcome. The event will aim to raise awareness of and encourage personal and team wellbeing and resilience and provide a fantastic opportunity to mix and network with like-minded people.
Keynote speaker
Dr Claire Ashley, the Burnout Doctor
Dr Claire Ashley is a GP and published author specialising in burnout, mental health, and workplace wellbeing. She combines scientific rigour with lived insight to deliver talks that are both deeply relatable and profoundly practical. Through her work, Dr Ashley empowers individuals and organisations to move beyond surface-level wellbeing initiatives and create real, sustainable change. Her warm, pragmatic style has made her a sought-after speaker for companies, healthcare organisations, and leadership teams who want to tackle burnout in a practical but human way.
Practical workshops
A diverse range of wellbeing workshops on offer during the day - all facilitated by very experienced clinicians and offering different approaches to the subject:
- Introduction into functional breathing
- Personal resilience
- Reconecting through Yoga: A chance to pause
- See the world differently with your 'right brain'
- Immersive gong soundbath
- How to have healthy conversations about neurodiversity in the workplace
Full details of the workshops will be shared shortly and booked attendees will be given the opportunity to pick their preferred workshops nearer the time.
Tickets
Tickets for Humberside and North Yorkshire practice staff are £60.00 per guest with tea/coffee throughout the day and a hot buffet lunch.
Tickets for West Yorkshire practice staff only are £45 per guest with tea/coffee throughout the day and a hot buffet lunch. These tickets are part subsidised by WY ICB funding.
Group bookings welcome.
There will be opportunities to network with colleagues and visit practice suppliers and service providers.
