Course title: Recovery from Adverse Events

Course summary: Find out how to recover in a healthy and sustainable way following an adverse event: be it a serious complaint, medical or professional error. It’s designed for all leaders within a practice. 

Course aims and objectives:

  • Find out how to recover well from an adverse event.
  • Understanding how stress and trauma affect us mentally.
  • Learn about a framework to use to progress efficiently through the stages of recovery. Design your own recovery plan by the end of the session.

Who should attend?

This course is for anyone in a leadership position in general practice and primary care across the UK.

Course Format

This training will be run over Zoom, a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event.

To participate you will need to install Zoom on your device, and ensure it is has a working microphone, speaker, and camera.

It will be an interactive session, allowing opportunity for small group discussions.

Cancellations

All bookings are non-refundable.

If you are not able to attend, you must let us know 5 working days beforehand. Every attempt will be made to move your booking to an alternative course or date (subject to availability).  Alternatively, we may issue you with a course credit to use against future courses.
