Please be aware that our courses have been designed with General Practice staff in mind, and they are delivered by facilitators with general practice backgrounds and experience. The Personal and Team resilience courses are transferable into other healthcare sectors, but please be aware that there may be specific references to General Practice scenarios. Our Systems resilience courses are not generally suitable for sectors outside of General Practice. Please contact us before booking if you have any queries about suitability.

Course overview:

As practices emerge form a pandemic, financial pressures and now a potential new contract, they may wish to review their practice systems.

This programme will help you to: 

·       Reflect on the resilience of your own organisation (using the Healthy Practice framework) 

·       Review Values and share system resilience initiatives/processes that are working well for your organisation 

·       Determine and discuss systems that you may wish to have in place 

·       Discover tools and techniques to aid your organisation to become more resilient 

·      Consider leadership models to develop the team and enhance practice communications

The practice systems covered within this course will include: 

·       Effectiveness of clinical systems 

·       Effectiveness of practice management systems 

·       Patient experience 

There will be a small amount of pre-course preparation (max 30 min) shared with you, to help you to get the most out of the course.

Please note that contractual aspects will be based on the England Standard General Medical Services (GMS) Contract

Course Format:

The course will be run via zoom – a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event. We provide interactive sessions with between 3 and 12 delegates allowing opportunity for small group discussions.

To participate you will need to install Zoom in advance of the course on your own device (rather than sharing devices with colleagues), and ensure you have a microphone, speaker and camera in working order.

Cost:

Our courses are now available to all practice staff across the UK.  A course fee is applicable - please see below.

Cancellations:

Refunds - all bookings are non-refundable. If you provide at least 24 hour notice we can transfer the place to another staff member. If you provide at least 72 hours notice we can provide you with the course fee as a credit to use against future courses.
